Thanks to many people who helped me in the creation of this book. Thanks, to my family, including my wife, Tina, for encouragement along the way, and my son, Kevin, for encouragement and lots of help in the computer area, where I needed lots of help on a new laptop.

Thanks to several of my old Gambit co workers who helped me clarify items that I have written about.

A greeting to all the people that might read this missive who actively supported the program, both on orbit when we were working around the clock shifts and between launches. This also includes personnel in and far from Sunnyvale, some whom I am probably not aware of. I feel that a team is only as strong as its’ weakest link, and, I feel, we had no weak links.
